People have discovered a God of whom there is no need to be afraid. People have found a Messenger who came only so that, despite all their evil deeds, he would become their guaranteed intercessor before God. People have found an Afterlife where Paradise is only for them and Hell is for others. People have acquired prayers that can coexist with pride and envy. People have come to know fasts that are not corrupted by lies and oppression. People have found a religion that is only for discussion and debate, not for practice.

But fake gold is only gold as long as it is not tested on the touchstone. Similarly, this business of deception lasts only until God manifests and sets up the scales of His justice.
