Michel Foucault did not deny the existence of important phenomena like 'madness', 'crime', and 'sexuality'; rather, his aim was to protect that existence of the individual which remains under the influence of social formations. Because social formations keep changing. They depend on a complex web of power. However, it is to ensure that those lives which were sacrificed to silence in dark paths could (in some way) find a remedy. At the very least, the silence of those who have been silenced should be given meaning. Therefore, it becomes a blessing that in the philosophical realm, dark paths are illuminated so that social formations and the power relations working in their background become clear. Besides this, the purpose of the analysis becoming a subject here is to show that history is generally taken as an evolutionary process. That is, it is accepted that humans have progressed from era to era. As if, if humans were shackled in chains before, today the chains have been broken. However, Foucault drew attention to the nature of freedom attributed to the modern era. He pointed out that the torment that individuals with different thinking have to endure in the form of loneliness and silence is worse than chains and bars.
