Foreword
Einstein is counted among the greatest scientists of the twentieth century. His theories revolutionized modern science and changed the way scientists view the world. His monumental contributions to the field of modern physics need no introduction.
The book at hand consists of translations of various writings of Einstein regarding the relationship between religion and science. The articles and excerpts included in the book are derived from Einstein’s miscellaneous writings.
The book consists of four articles.
(November 9, 1930) Religion and Science
(May 19, 1939) Religion and Science
(June 1948) Is a Conflict Between Religion and Science Possible?
(Einstein’s Autobiography) Einstein’s Religious Views
At the beginning of the book, the nature of religion and science, their mutual relationship, and the views of various scientists regarding God and religion are highlighted, and they are also compared with Einstein’s theories. A brief introduction to some important books written on the subject of the relationship between religion and science is also included in the preface.
The world is aware of Einstein’s ideas in the scientific field; however, few people know about his religious views, and the material available in the Urdu language in this regard is negligible. The book at hand is an effort to fill this gap.
